Lecturer
Matt has made presentations before many different groups, including the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), the Small Practitioners Group of the MACPA; the Independent Accountants Association of Michigan (IAAM); the Michigan Grocers Association; and he has conducted estate planning and employee benefit seminars both privately for clients, and publicly in connection with various groups for years, including the Troy Public Library.
Community
Matt has been an active member in the Troy Rotary Club from 1988 through 2005, serving on the Board of Directors, and as President (1994-1995) and was a founding member of the Troy Rotary Foundation and its Pot O’ Gold fund raiser for many years. In 1995, Matt received the coveted Paul Harris award for distinguished service from his fellow Rotarians. Matt also served as a member of the Troy Historical Commission for the year 1993-1994.
